| Research Interests |
Currently in my lab my colleagues, students and I are conducting several studies on diverse topics, including media, aggression, and gender. One of these studies examines the potentially positive impact of video game play on working memory and problem solving. Another looks at the impact of relational aggression on college women.
Some other studies that are in the works will examine the impact of sexual and/or violent visual media (e.g., TV shows, advertisements) on a variety of dependent measures. Also, in a departure from my usual research topics, I'm working on a study with Dr. Todd McElroy where we are examining gender differences in the experience of regret. |
