Research Interests
Currently, I have two main projects underway.  The first, undertaken in collaboration with Dr. Sandy Gagnon and Dr. Tim Huelsman, is a project examining the ecological correlates of social competence among preschoolers.  The second project involves the development and national distribution of a survey of teachers’ perceptions of educational accountability programs.   I also have two other projects underway--one that examines bullying in high school and college, and the other is a factor analytic study of a measure of pre-service teachers' cultural diversity awareness.  Other research topics of interest to me include giftedness and religious orientation as they relate to school experience.
