Research Interests
Timothy Ludwig is a professor at Appalachian State University where he is a faculty of the Industrial/Organizational Psychology-Human Resources Management Masters program and is also the President of the Organizational Behavior Management National Network. His recent book, Intervening to Improve the Safety of Occupational Driving (Haworth Press), reviews 10 years of systematic behavioral safety data-based research on goal setting and feedback as well as empirical descriptions of response generalization. Currently, Dr. Ludwig's research is investigating the integration of human performance technology with behavior analytic principles to improve employee quality, productivity, and safety in industry. Dr. Ludwig is an associate editor of the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management and his research has been cited in numerous textbooks including Cooper& Locke (2000), Goodwin (1998), Kazdin (1994), Lieberman (1999), and Spector (2003). Additionally, Dr. Ludwig has been recognized as a University Deans Distinguished Graduate Faculty and he is a member of ASU's Academy of Outstanding Teachers. Professionally, Dr. Ludwig serves as a strategic planning and human resources development consultant to both private and governmental organizations.
